Gorjana

Gorjana launched her jewelry line just two short years ago and has already caught the eyes fashion magazines and celebrities.  The famous necks and ears of Debra Messing, Sophia Bush, Claire Danes and others have been seen decorated in the brand’s pieces. Additionally, the designer has been featured in Lucky, Shape and Modern Bride.

One of the designer’s earliest memories is helping her grandmother knit sweaters in her native Yugoslavia, where the country’s simplicity and beautiful landscape still serve as an inspiration. After moving to Canada and then the United States, Gorjana was discovered and began working as a model. It was on the catwalks and runways that she was exposed to the “glamorous side of fashion.” Today her contemporary designs are influenced by these various stages of life.

The Gorjana collection is modern with a bit of an edge. There is an organic feel to much of the line, apparent in her not-so-perfect circles. The creator herself characterizes the jewelry and “simplistic and versatile,” and she wishes for women to exude a positive when wearing her designs.
